We saw him again Saturday night, at the Tabernacle. Incredible.
Biggy has admitted to having a man-crush.

I heart him too. He may be one of primary sources of my hearing loss later in life. Have been cranking his songs on Ipod when jogging. I'm getting ready to download newest CD. Thanks for the reminder.
As the resident expert, let me pontificate on the albums. IF you're not familiar with Mr. Lamontagne, I think your best choice would be to purchase his debut album, Trouble. This is a good introduction to his greatness. I would then follow with Till The Sun Turns Black, his follow up album. I would avoid Gossip in the Grain, his newest album, until you have allowed ample time for the sweet sweet melodies of his first two albums to soak into your soul.
To capture the spirit of his live performances, you could also treat yourself to Ray Lamontagne Live from Bonaroo 2005.
Biggy -- I didn't get around to downloading "Gossip in the Grain" last night, so took your excellent advice and I'm listening to "Till the Sun Turns Black" now. The sweet sweet melodies of "Trouble" have already soaked into my soul.

Ray LaMontagne. Pick any cd. They're all great.

My conversation with the "expert" this morning:
BIggy: (singing) ...and I-I-I-I will shelter yoooo....
...and I-I-I-I will shelter yoooo...(talking) I've almost got it. That sounded just like him.
TR: You do realize that you sound different to other people than you do in your own head?
Biggy: All that matters is how I sound to myself.
ahhhhh, greg. i never knew you were sooo eloquent and can sing too. i will always look at you differently now.
love always,
mamoo
