George's friends Anna and Taylor celebrated their 18th birthdays with a joint 80's party at Anna's house. And what better way to celebrate your birthday if you were born in 1989? To think they almost missed that whole remarkable decade.
No one I knew dressed like that in the 80s. We all wore black and listened to Siouxsie, Cocteau Twins and Bauhaus. We would have beat people like this down...if we weren't so depressed we couldn't get off the couch. Wow, I suddenly smell patchouli and bongwater.

Ga is beautiful as always, but Garey looks a little like Huey Lewis.
Ewwwww! I can't STAND patchouli. The 80's were miserable. I was too young to wear all black - still in high school, BUT I did have a mohawk. Really!
The 80's were excellent-parachute pants, Men at Work, Thompson Twins, vans, Member's Only jackets...
It was good for us big-haired girls.
Anne-D...I was iin high school and wore all black every day. We were the original trenchcoat mafia. No excuses! :)
I miss crimped hair.
