Just Like Billy Ray Cyrus

I have no class. For the first time in eight years.

And I can't believe I'm saying this, but I just might enjoy the break from teaching.

i thought you were preparing for class this afternoon? did they all decide they didn't want you as their teacher?

now that gives you plenty of time to come to ny.

Damn right you have no class. Why do you think I like you so much? I'd like you even more if you could persuade Biggy to get a mullet. That would be badass. Minus Five, did T tell you I'm going to a writing workshop to take class with your boyfriend Nick Flynn? I'm leaving Sunday. Do you want me to give him a tongue kiss from you or anything?

That's pretty much the way it went down, Sarah. So now I'm sitting at Starbucks, reading Jennifer's poems...while I wait for some website instructions from Iconologic, that is.

Jennifer, you're just looking for any excuse to tongue kiss.

Maybe, while you're at Starbuck's, you can make the table shake.

Yeah, T, that's me. Tongue kiss, tongue kiss, tongue kiss. When I walk into class each day, the students scream, "Oh, shit! Here's comes Licky." That's exactly how it works. Shaking that table yet?

Perhaps you should fill our readers in on this table-shaking allusion...just for fun...in very general terms, of course.

dang. and you are always on my case for turning blogs into chat rooms? jennifer, i don't know if nick flynn is good looking or not. if he is, then yes, go right ahead. if not, a handshake will do.

it would be cool of you to tell him how much i liked his book, "another bullshit night in suck city" and to put in a good word for me to design his next cover. you could also tell him to check out my blog so that he can join my fan club.

Taking a break from teaching is natural, taking a break from learning is dangerous.
