In the car, after picking Lola up from school:
TR: Guess what?! My toenail's coming off.
Lo: Ew, why's it coming off?
TR: I don't know. I noticed it in the shower this morning. It's not all the way off yet; it's hanging.
Lo: Diss-gust-ting! Why did you have to tell me?
TR: I just wanted to share.
Lo: Hold on. (silence...silence...silence...) I just farted. I wanted to share that with you.

That seems fair.
tania, can you pleeeeaaase not share everything about lola? why not blog about the good things about her, such as --uh- well, just don't share everything.
She's smarter than all of us.
Oh, it seems VERY clear that she's not one but several serious steps ahead of us all! Looks like she's shaping up to be a force to be reckoned with. I mean, how often do you think to yourself, of a 7 year old's comment, "Damn, I wish I'd thought of that!" (Er, well, maybe that tells more about MY sense of humor than it should!)
Still, I LOVE LOLA STORIES!
And they are, by the way, told with SUCH love and humor. Just wanted you to know that that love comes through, loud and clear.
Mamoo - I think this is just another example of so many of the good things about Lola. She is smart and funny and quick. How could she not be growing up around all of you?
Sharing is caring....
Kathy, she gets it from me. Duh!
Is it love, or is it fascination?
