what's up with nobody commenting on your blogs about mark foley? did your readers sleep in or something? maybe its because you personalized it with your own story. i always hate it when people tell the truth about stuff that has happened to them. its a picket fence nation. don't you know that?
I didn't not comment because Tania personalized her story, but because I don't even know where to start since I feel outrage and sadness about so many things right now. The good 'ol boys (and girls)have been protecting each other and abusing their power and the public's trust for a very long time. It's pretty sad that this is the story that finally stirs up a little outrage. Invading a country for no good reason, having no plan for that country after you invade, torture, locking people up indefinitely with no chance of trial -- all of this seems to be ok. But given a chance to talk about God and morality and sex (and another opportunity to somehow equate homosexuality with pedophilia) and they're all over it. So the news that many US soldiers and Iraqi civilians have died since the weekend passes largely unnoticed. Again.
kathy (if you are, indeed, a real person as tania claims): however people need to get pissed, its good that they finally are. but i think that's why nobody really says anything about all of the things that are obviously very wrong... because its just too big. like you said, where do you even start?
I think Foley and Hastert should be loaded into a rocket and shot into the center of the sun...and anyone who helped cover it up. As a matter of fact, can we just just load up a space shuttle with all the Republicans and launch them?

I don't care if anyone comments. I just want the good ol' boys to stop protecting each other.
