For Howard's Home Shopping

Ever since yesterday's Betty post, which reminded me, I've been looking for this--an ad I saw in a magazine while we were at Fripp last summer. I was shocked by it--and yet delighted. Later, I saw it in almost every women's mag all season. This is clever advertising. And now that I've found it online (it took LOTS of searching), I'm sharing it with you.

Last one regarding this subject. For a while, at least.

Those cats are disgusting and the one on the right looks like she's touching herself.

Hey, one just reminded me of the other. You know they're funny.

But I'm done with it--not to worry.

delighted...delighted? it's an odd word to use to describe your feeling about finding an ad for, well, you know.

How 'bout 'tickled' then?

It made me laugh.

t: i think they all get it now. that you've got bigger problems than most everyone else. go ahead and tell them about our conversation last night... i know that's what you're building up to anyway. poor minus.

And just in time for the holiday gift-giving season! Kind of makes those Remington razor ads seem a bit, wel, dated.

Minus Five, did you and T talk more about poop? I hope so!

jennifer: sorry to disappoint you, but it wasn't a poop discussion. you'll have to wait for tania to reveal the whole thing later. i think she's secretly been hanging out with you too much. i mean, look at the three latest posts... and then the conversation last night. all i can say is, poor minus.

Poor pussies is more like it. What's that one the far right supposed to be? A bow-tie? Happy to be gay...everyday...hooray...sing it with me now.

MF, T has not been hanging out with me nearly enough. Clearly she prefers the wilds of Cobb County (and planning how to shape/color her kitty) to anything I or Athens might offer her. Some time when you make one of your visits, though, you and T should come see me. Biggy can watch the kids, clean the house, and feed and walk the dogs while you're gone. Deal?

biggy prefers to be a mulch pourer instead of doing any house cleaning and the dogs are too old to go on walks. i think they both have arthritis. the dogs, not biggy and tania, though i can't be positive about the latter. as far as coming to see you, it will have to be cleared with tania, as she is always my chauffeur.
